Sweet and Sour Prawns on Brown Rice

Ingredients-


1/2 cup of brown rice
1 cup of green Beans
1 cup of asparagus
10 uncooked prawns
Salt
Pepper
Garlic granules
1 tbsp. of honey
1 tsp. of chili paste
1 1/2 tbsps. of reduced sodium soy sauce
3 baby plum tomatoes, cut in half
1 tbsp. of sesame seeds

Directions-

  • Sauté the green beans and asparagus in a bit of oil, add salt, pepper and garlic granules or powder, to taste.
  • Cook until a bit tender but not yet ready, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the prawns and sauté them for 10 minutes, turning once. 
  • Mix the honey, with the reduced sodium soy sauce and chili paste or chili sauce, (if you want it hotter, add more chili).
  • Top with sesame seeds and tomatoes once finished.
  • Serve with brown rice.
